A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM: In Need Of Egeus & Snug

Last week I was delighted to meet with a mix of both established and new Windsor Theatre Guild members for casting for A Midsummer Night’s Dream (coincidentally and wonderfully on Shakespeare’s birthday).

It is with great pleasure that I share the cast list of our talented and welcoming players – this really is a Dream company.

We do still, however, have two roles to fill: in my view the scene-stealing Snug, who plays the lion in the play within the play; and also the slightly less heart-winning yet powerful and key role of Egeus, whose harshness sends the lovers into the woods and thus into our story.

Let us know if you or anyone you know is interested in taking the role(s) on!

Anna Jones – Director
